Electric Cars List

Our Electric cars list includes all the cars available either today or in the future. Car manufacturers are planning new cars to be launched in 2011 and 2012. We have had the opportunity to test drive some of these vehicles before they are launched. We have included test drives for some of the electric cars and information on range performance and style.

Electric Cars Available today

Aixam Cars are a French manufacturer of quadricycles. Top Speed of 40mph (65km/h) and Range of 40 miles (65km).

Aptera Car is three wheeled, which makes it technically classed as a motorbike. Top speed estimated 85mph (137km/h), range estimated 100 miles (160km).

BYD Cars are a Chinese rechargeable battery manufacturer. E6 due to go on sale 2012, top speed and range are known.

Dynsaty classed as an NEV, is a small, practical five door hatchback. Top Speed 25mph (40km/h), range 40 miles (65km).

G-Wiz The little car that started the revolution. Introduced by REVA to London in 2004.

Nissan Leaf a spacious five seat car, large luggage space, an electronically limited top speed of 85mph (140km/h) and range of 100 miles (160km).

Mitsubishi i MiEV is a four seat city car. Top speed is electronically limited to 82mph (132km/h) and the it has a range of up to 93 miles (150km).
