First week with G-Wiz

4th August 2006 - Our first week with our G-Wiz is now complete and we have done over 120 miles. The children love it our youngest who is only 20 months tries to give it a hug every time he sees it. I have one main problem with our car, Mike wants to use it when he is around. The other day I was expecting to use it in the afternoon to take the kids swimming but was informed that it had been taken out in the morning and was now on charge, so instead I had to use our Zafira.

We are a bit restricted in using the car for all four of us, as our son still needs a full child seat which will only fit in the front and to stop him kicking the dash and radio the seat needs to be moved right back, so there is no leg room in the back.

Today I have used the car for the weekly shop. It is interesting trying to get it all in plus two children. I have to use the space under the bonnet, small boot space and half the back seat.

The car is great and I enjoy driving it more than I thought I would, from a family point of veiw it is a shame it is not a bit bigger, but at least no more trips to fill up with petrol. The main reason for buying the car is for the school run, which is a seven mile round trip, so after the holidays the car will be put to real use.
