Mitsubishi iMiEV moving paving slabs

Mitsubishi i MiEV boot space
17th April 2010 - We need to use the Mitsubishi i MiEV for moving paving slabs today. It's Saturday morning and we have decided to start doing some work to our garden.
We live next to a wood with a lake, so our garden gets very water logged and takes a very long time to dry out. This year we have built a couple of raised beds one of which is at the bottom of the garden to grow vegetables. We have decided to build raised beds as the soil we have is like clay and most vegetables do not grown very well. So a raised bed will hopefully give us better results. Also at the end of the garden we have a compost heap, so we need to have access with out walking on the grass at regular times. So our solution is to build a stepping stone path surrounded by bark along one side of the garden.
With our petrol car left at the garage for repair we had to use the Mitsubishi i MiEV to go to B and Q, which is only 5 miles away. We could not find the right slabs, so next stop the garden center another 11 miles. Success we found what we want, we need 14 slabs and a few other odd bits. We with our trolley fully laden up, now to fit them in the car with the 4 of us.
One thing which I have found very useful with the Mitsubishi i MiEv and shopping is that you can adjust the back angle of the rear seats, so that they are more upright. This a bit more uncomfortable for the children but it gives more boot space.
With everything in the car time to go home, total journey distance 23 miles and we still have 2 thirds of the charge left. Plenty for any other odd trips for the day
