Mitsubishi electric car broken down

31st May 2010 - Our Mitsubishi electric car is broken down. We just got back from a few days away using our petrol car as we had to tow the caravan.
We left the i MiEV on Friday with about three quarters of charge remaining and left it off charge. Today I wanted to move the i MiEV so that we could get into the garage (it was parked against the door). I used the fob to open the vehicle with no problems. I then tried to turn the power switch to start the motor, a few lights flashed at me and then nothing. I am now unable to take the i MiEV out of park mode and even use the key fob to lock it. The battery is completely dead. I locked it again using the spare key.
The I MiEV we have is a pre production vehicle and is on trial for a year. This allows them to sort out any problems that may occur in real world conditions.
As it is Bank Holiday Monday we leave the i MiEV and wait to phone Mitsubishi in the morning to try and sort it out.
