Mitsubishi i MiEV invloved in crash

19th September 2010 - Our Mitsubishi i MiEV was involved in a crash today, but no one was hurt.

We had just popped out to a local village to collect a take-away and parked the car in the road. While in the take-away, the car parked behind reversed at a fast speed into our electric car.

There is damage to the back bumper, boot lid and the rear glass is smashed. We exchanged details and drove home. Once again we have had to call out Mitsubishi Assistance Package to take the car away as it was insecure, this is now the fifth time.

Our insurance company has been notified of the accident. The question is now will we get the i MiEV back from repair. This is a preproduction electric car so spare parts may not be available.
